I’m Ash. This is Smashed Miniatures.

At Smashed Miniatures, miniature painting is about more than simply getting paint onto a model.

I’m Ash, the painter behind the studio, and my aim is to create miniatures that have presence — models that catch your eye across the table and reward you when you look at them up close.

I paint individual characters, squads, armies and display pieces, working across different levels of finish depending on what you want from your collection. That might mean a cohesive army designed to look fantastic on the tabletop, or a highly finished centrepiece where every surface, material and tiny detail gets the attention it deserves.

I particularly enjoy creating strong contrast, vibrant colours, convincing metals, cloth, armour, weathering and the little finishing touches that give a miniature its personality.

Smashed Miniatures is intentionally personal. There is no production line and no anonymous team of painters. When you commission Smashed Miniatures, your models are being painted by me.
